Hi John,

I'd like to confirm the following information to help you narrow down the issue:

1. Do you have any third party add-ins installed on your PC? If so, please temporarily remove them and then check if the issue persists.

2. Will the issue happen if you configure your account in Skype for Business on your colleague's computer?

3. Some screenshots about the symptom " It keeps randomly disconnecting and reconnecting every few minutes ".

4. Are you a pure online user or do you have Skype for Business server deployed in your organization?

Regards,

Monique

I had shoretel intergration.  So i just disabled that.

I did try using a different machine and it would "reconnect"  at the exact same time as my normal computer.  still trying to get a screenshot in time.  it happens very quickly.  as it just happened now 7:52am CST around the 50 second mark.

just happened to catch it in the corner of my eye.

We are purely online using the cloud.  we don't have a on premise skype server.

Id also like to add it may be a better description to say being re-logged in than disconnecting.  when it happens skype goes back to the logging in screen.  and shows a updating next to all my contacts. take about 2-3 seconds and its back to normal again.

Hi John,

1. Have you tried performing a clean boot in Windows to check if it works ? This will helps eliminate whether the issue is caused by software conflicts.

2.To better understand the situation, if you could provide a video about the symptom when the issue happens that would be highly appreciated.

3. For further analysis, please provide the entire Tracking File for us. Here are the steps:

a. In File Explorer, navigate to theTracing folder in your user profile directory—for example, C:\Users\<your_alias>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Skype for Business\Tracing. (If you've just enabled Skype for Business logging, you'll need to sign out of Skype for Business and then sign back in for the log files to be created.)

b. Compress (or zip) the Tracing folder.

c. Send the compressed folder through the private message to us.

Regards,

Monique

Hi John,

I couldn't see the Tracing log via the private message. Could you please upload it again?

Meantime, if you could provide a video or some screenshots about the symptom that would be highly appreciated.

Regards,

Monique

Hi John,

From the error message, I'd like to reconfirm if you have on-premises environment. If you are not clear about it, please involve your admin help you check it.

If you have on-premises environment, the issue may be related to Authentication.

If you confirm you are pure online, we still need to collect the tracing log. I reply to via the private message.

Regards,

Monique

Hi John,

Thanks for your private message. Regarding the tracing log, let's lay it aside for the moment. Sorry for my mistake.

I'd like to reconfirm if the issue happens in all the other Skype fort Business clients. If so, your Skype for Business client is ok, the issue might be related to your account or others.

You said it's not related to network environment, I'd like to reconfirm if you have tried in another network environment.

If the issue happens in specific Skype for Business client, please start your computer in safe mode in case any software conflict to see if it works.

Regards,

Monique
